Hello everyone, I have just published a new tool that makes it easy to use rsync over SSH, on any port, to synchronize a directory (handy for migrations). It works in both directions.
In antesync mode, data is synchronized from the server you run it on to a target server, while in retrosync mode it fetches data from elsewhere and synchronizes it locally.
It is very simple to use:
14:36:05-sx@turing:~/brain$ ./sxsync.sh
./sxsync.sh typesync(antesync or retrosync) user ip/host srcdirectory dstdirectory sshport
example: ./sxsync.sh retrosync brain 192.168.0.1 /home/brain/ /home/chris/ 65022
Note: if you have exclude liste create exclude.txt and one line par rule cf:
/home/toto
/home/tata/exclude.cfg
/home/titi/blabla
/home/www/sites
