New release of Armitage (graphical cyber attack management tool for Metasploit)

By Christophe Casalegno on in Infosec

Armitage is a graphical cyber attack management tool for Metasploit that lets you visualize your targets, recommends exploits, and exposes the framework’s advanced capabilities. Armitage is a graphical frontend that makes Metasploit usable for people who understand hacking but haven’t mastered the Metasploit Framework. If you want to learn Metasploit and grow into the advanced features, Armitage can help you.

Armitage organizes Metasploit’s capabilities around the hacking process. There are a lot of features, including discovery, access, post-exploitation, and maneuver. Armitage can also assist with remote exploitation, providing features to automatically recommend exploits and even run active checks so you know which exploits will work.

This release improves management of remote Metasploit instances. Now, with this release, you can hack directly from the cloud. This release also adds tab completion to the Meterpreter console, a Ctrl+A shortcut… for highlighting all text in a buffer, and you can now import multiple scan files at once.
