In this video, I show you how to easily set up MySQL or MariaDB replication with a single bash command on Linux. This script was tested with MySQL versions 5.5 to 5.7 (I have not yet tested it with MySQL 8) and MariaDB versions 10.0 to 10.4.
You can download the file using the command or simply the link it contains: wget --no-check-certificate https://www.christophe-casalegno.com/tools/replikator.sh
Examples of use:
./replikator 83.143.18.20 (ip publique) 192.168.1.20 (ip privée) rootmastersqlpassword 83.143.18.30 (ip publique) 192.168.1.30 (ip privée) rootslavesqlpassword
./replikator 83.143.18.20 (ip publique) 83.143.18.20 (ip publique) rootmastersqlpassword 83.143.18.30 (ip publique) 83.143.18.30 (ip publique) rootslavesqlpassword
