Installing Jitsi on Debian Stretch Linux with a single command

Jitsi

This little Bash script lets you easily install Jitsi on a Debian Linux server with a single command. Using it could not be simpler: you need a Debian 9 server (it may work on Debian 10, but I have not tested it), then download the file and run it, passing the instance’s hostname as a parameter:

wget --no-check-certificate https://www.christophe-casalegno.com/tools/jitsi.sh
chmod +x jitsi.sh
./jisti.sh brain2.digital-network.net

Note: I added a fix to the install-letsencrypt-cert.sh file supplied by Jitsi to use the instance name and avoid the failure caused by getting the hostname via jvb-hostname in the original file.

Then, if you want to, all that remains is to run the Let’s Encrypt script supplied by Jitsi at: /usr/share/jitsi-meet/scripts/install-letsencrypt-cert.sh »
