The hosts are installed; now I move on to configuring the Proxmox VE cluster. I bring the four nodes together through the web interface, with two communication paths for Corosync, then add the local datastores and my certificate. Storage is available on each node, but it is not shared storage.
I also keep the unexpected problems in: on reboot, one machine refuses to start again and needs support intervention. Even with good hardware and redundancy, you never control every parameter. My recommendation remains the same: always plan for backup and have a plan for incidents.
I finish with a test VM, a snapshot, its restoration and live migrations between nodes. We check that things work as we go, making the necessary corrections. The other tests planned before production deployment are reserved for a third part.
