Installing a Linux Apache MySQL / MariaDB PHP server and migrating WordPress on Proxmox VE - step 1

Duration: 16:13

English version of this page. The original recording is unchanged.

Before migrating my WordPress blog, I prepare its new server. I create a virtual machine in Proxmox VE, then install Debian 12 manually to show the steps usually hidden by a template.

I then deploy my LAMP stack with StackX. I show you how the scripts use the machine's configuration to install services, prepare the different PHP versions, configure the system and set up monitoring. The idea is to understand what happens behind the automation, not just watch an installation scroll past.

This first part ends with the server ready to host the site. Copying WordPress and its database is covered in the second part.
