Injecting binaries into the terminal and manipulating files in Bash - Christophe Casalegno

Duration: 17:57

English version of this page. The original recording is unchanged.

In this new episode of "#hacker secrets", I first show you how files can be manipulated in Bash without access to the "usual" Linux system commands such as cp, rm, mv, cat, etc.

In the second part, I explain how an executable binary can be injected into any system through the terminal, without access to network tools such as netcat or file transfer protocols, whether for downloading or uploading, such as scp, ftp, sftp, http, etc.

Feel free to share your own experiences!

The site I refer to for understanding Bash commands is https://explainshell.com/

Enjoy!
