On 30 January 2021, panic gradually spread across the Internet, peaking on Monday 1 February 2021. The cause? After Cisco forgot to renew the spamcop.net domain, all email filtering systems using SpamCop marked 100% of messages as spam... Following that incident, I decided to show you how easy it is, with a few lines of Bash, to check automatically (or not) whether your servers' IP addresses are listed by SpamCop.
